Congress fee
The Congress fees are as follows
- Congress Fee - Early registration fee is SEK 7500, registration fee paid after April 1, is SEK 8.750 and on site registration fee is SEK 11250
- Student/nurse Congress fee - student/nurse - Early registration fee is SEK 5000, registration fee paid after April 1 is SEK 6250 and on site registration fee is SEK 7500
- “Svensk Plastikkirurgisk Förening” or “Svensk Förening för Estetisk Plastikkirurgi” Congress fee - Early registration fee is SEK 6750, registration fee paid after April 1 is SEK 7875 and on site registration fee is SEK 10125
All prices above are including 25% VAT.
The congress fee includes attendance to all sessions in the main session hall A1 at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre, conference bag, conference program, lunches and coffee/tea breaks during the conference.
The following persons are offered a reduced registration fee:
- member of “Svensk Plastikkirurgisk Förening” or “Svensk Förening för Estetisk Plastikkirurgi”, if membership is proven
- medical students, upon confirmation from their medical school or equivalent that the student is enrolled full-time as an under graduate or post-graduate student in the current academic year
- nurses, upon confirmation from superior that the person in question is employed at the time being or by disclosing a copy of a her or his nurse ID.

Badges
Each participant will receive a name badge upon registration. For security reasons all participants are requested to wear their badge during all the symposium activities and social events. (The cost for replacing a lost badge is SEK 500).
Banks, Credit Cards and Currency Exchange
Banks are open between 09.30/10.00 and 15.00 on weekdays. Some banks in central Stockholm are open from 09.00 to 17.00. Major credit cards are accepted in hotels, restaurants and shops. It is advisable to carry an identity card or any form of photo identification. The official currency is Swedish Krona (SEK). USD 1 = SEK 7,10, EUR 1 = SEK 9,28 (January 2012). For money exchange, the companies "Forex" and "X-change" have offices at the airports and in the city. Climate and Dress
The weather in Stockholm at this time of the year is usually mild with temperatures approximately 20 degrees Celsius; showers may occur. Informal dress is recommended.

Electricity
Electrical current in Sweden is 220 V/50 Hz. Round, European-style two-pin plugs are used. Appliances designed to operate on 110/120 Volts need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.
Local Transportation
Arrival at Arlanda Airport
Airport coaches leave Arlanda airport (Stockholm's international airport) every 5-10 minutes for the City Terminal in central Stockholm. The bus ride takes approximately 35 minutes and costs SEK 99 (January 2012). Please visit www.flygbussarna.se for further information.
From Arlanda Airport there is a direct train connection to the Stockholm Central Station, the Arlanda Express Train. The journey takes about 20 minutes, cost SEK 260 (January 2012). The train leaves every 15 minutes from Arlanda Airport, and is specially designed with extra space for luggage. Please visit www.arlandaexpress.se for further information.
Taxis are available outside the arrival hall at Arlanda airport. Prices may vary considerably, so you are advised to ask for the price before entering the taxi. Many taxi companies offer a fixed price of SEK 495 from Arlanda airport to Stockholm city centre (SEK 495 from Stockholm city centre to Arlanda airport) and the driver is obliged to give you a printed receipt on request (January 2012).
Arrival at Bromma Airport
Airport coaches leave Bromma airport for the City Terminal in central Stockholm. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes and costs SEK 79 (January 2012). Please visit www.flygbussarna.se for further information.
Taxis are available outside the arrival hall at Bromma airport.
Meals
Coffee and lunches are included in the registration fee and will be served daily.
On-site Registration in Stockholm
On-site registration will start on Wednesday June 6. The registration desk and symposium secretariat is located at the Waterfront Congress Centre and will be open during the Symposium hours.
Passport, Visa and Invitation letter
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Sweden. Please note that if you wish to participate in a tour outside Sweden, you may need a multiple entry visa to Sweden. Please contact your travel agency for further information.
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the symposium, should contact the symposium secretariat bts@akademikliniken.se no later than 15 May 2011. The invitation letter will be issued once the registration form and payment has been received by the Akademikliniken.

Time Zone The time zone in Stockholm is GMT + 1 hour. Daylight Saving Time is used during the summer.
Tipping A gratuity is included in the price of hotels and taxis. It is common to leave a tip of around 10%, however. When visiting restaurants, you can show your appreciation for good service by leaving a little extra.
VAT Refund Conditions Swedish VAT, currently between 6% and 25% may be repaid to foreign enterprises, except banks and insurance companies, or companies providing health care or education. Information about the refunding of VAT will be available from the symposium Secretariat.
